Seeking Support Technician


Tightrope Media Systems is seeking a Support Technician to join our growing team. The candidate will be focused on PC based systems with customized software. Application will include (large and small scale) digital signage, broadcast automation, video servers and instant replay systems. Our diverse customer base is primarily US-based, with a growing international presence.

The Support Technician will need to adapt to the knowledge level of the customer to support Tightrope’s ZEPLAY, Carousel and Cablecast products. This ranges from customers with very limited technical abilities, all the way up to a high-level engineer or programmer. This person will be responsible for fielding incoming calls, emails, ticketing system and occasional sales support.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Incoming phone & email tickets – from dealers, integrators, internal sales staff and end users
  • Dealer installation support
  • Pre-sales questions

Desired Skills

  • Strong Customer Service – Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual – Fluent in oral and written Spanish
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting
  • Ability to learn quickly and to adapt to different environments
  • Strong background in Windows OS’s – XP, WIN7,Server 03 & 08

Added benefit with background in:

  • Networks, SQL, IIS, .Net, Active Directory. Web based applications
  • Audiovisual Industry Experience, Broadcast A/V, A/V Wiring
