The Tightrope Team would like all its customers currently using Windows XP systems to be aware of some changes that will affect future updates to your system. Microsoft officially ended support for Windows XP on April 8, 2014. Since then there have been no further security updates available, leaving machines operating on this system more vulnerable. This is why Tightrope is following suit and discontinuing Windows XP support in our latest software. Click here to read the full release in our knowledge base. We strongly encourage you to read this knowledge base post in full, as it contains many important details to help you decide how to move forward.
What does this mean for you? Once your software version has reached EOL, there will NOT be any further maintenance releases. You WILL still be able to contact Tightrope for support and we will continue provide support for your licensed products. You WILL NOT be able to upgrade to the next version of our software, Cablecast 6.0, which includes a major overhaul of the user interface among other great features.
For information on upgrading your system so you can get the upcoming Cablecast 6.0 software, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
