Art from limitation: Self-imposed limitation

I have a piece of glass in my workshop. It is 2′ by 5′, tapered on the edges. I want to make a table out of it however, I’m not feeling inspired. I think it is a waste to have a nice piece of glass sitting in the corner but I don’t want to use it ‘just because’. So a trick I sometimes use on myself to to impose a limitation on a project. It makes it a lot more fun and you can get some great inspiration that way.

I have piece of glass and a desire to make a table.

Limitations
- It must be made from found objects (no purchasing new wood, finishes, etc.)
- It must have a spirit

OK, that’s it. I will post back with what I have made.
