• Amber recently completed work on her feature documentary “Common Threads: Stories of Life After Trauma” and will be screening the film at the Women’s International Film Festival this Friday April 4th in Miami, Florida. Check her post for more details.
• Andrew writes about the SDI output option for Carousel, which can take the place of multi-thousand dollar scan converters.
• Brandon has a couple posts about his quest for the perfect development workstation.
• Jeremy shares a music video that changed his life.
• JJ goes on a blogging rampage. Start out with his three part series on creating a company-wide Digital Dashboard using Carousel. He follows up with screencasts about a new feature in the upcoming Carousel 5.2 release, and a walkthrough on marking “points of interest” in VOD files. Finally, he offers a few reflections on the recent Digital Signage Expo trade show.
• John also features something new in Carousel 5.2, and offers a look at his new hobby.
• Scott battles back against Brandon, defending his choice of new computer, and rails against recent “advances” in the automotive industry. He’s also been working on a side project to help Cablecast SX owners convert their legacy content to a playable format.
