As the newest member of the development team, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Jennifer McCleary and I entered into the Tightrope family in February of 2007.  Prior to working at Tightrope I lived in Stowe,Vermont for five years.  In Stowe, I tested software for a company that developed hotel/casino/spa/golf/ticketing software.  My husband and I moved back to Minnesota in 2000, a year after our first child was born.  Shortly after arriving in Minnesota, we moved into a house across the street from a guy who was one of the co-founders of a software/hardware company.  I am sure you are figuring this out by now!  That “guy” was JJ Parker and to make a long story short, he offered me a position at Tightrope.

You may think family is a strange word to describe the company that I work for, however, within a short amount of time I discovered Tightrope is a family.  Many of the employees at Tightrope went to school together, worked together, grew up together, and ARE actually related!  I feel very fortunate to work with this unique, intelligent and fun group of people.

Within the development team, my primary focus has been on Carousel thus far.  We are currently polishing up some great new features for Carousel 5.1!  We will be looking for some Beta testers soon, so keep reading our blogs!
