Well, I’ve done it. I’ve officially jumped on the blog wagon. Here, you can expect to see posts about Cablecast and Carousel issues, troubleshooting techniques, and links to other technical resources. I’m always carrying around my bag of tricks and if you visit again, I might just spill one or two of my secrets.
You might also expect to see tutorials in the form of screen shots and videos.
One more thing I would like to get started is a Q&A section based on "real life" situations. So send me your real questions – I don’t want to provide dull, non-helpful solutions. I can always pull existing info from our database, but that’s just official Tightrope stuff. I wonder if you can tell me if more recent versions of Carousel are doing a better job of allowing the user to change the order in which the pages run. It seems to me that managing my pages would be a lot easier with a drag and drop function.
Also, it seems impossible to change the order of pages within a group, or to add a page to an existing group. I was able to get around it, but it was really time consuming. Am I just getting this all wrong?
